THE WHALER IS CURRENTLY RENOVATING MANY OF THE COMMON ELEMENTS. 1) THE ENTRANCE TO THE PORTE COCHERE WHERE YOU CHECK IN IS BEING REDONE AND WILL BE DONE BY JANUARY, 2008. 2) THE POOL, POOL DECK AND NEW 10 FOOT DIAMETER HOT TUB HAVE BEEN COMPLETED. 3) THE GARAGE BETWEEN THE TOWERS AND COURTYARD ARE UNDERGOING REPAIRS WHICH INCLUDE REMOVAL OF THE LANDSCAPING, SPALLING REPAIR, REPLACEMENT OF THE WATERPROOF MEMBRANE AND REPLACEMENT OF THE PLANTINGS IN THE COURTYARD. MOST OF THIS WORK WILL BE DONE BY JANUARY, 2009. A NEW LANDSCAPING DESIGN WILL INCLUDE A NEW LARGER KOI POND WITH A WATERFALL. THE KOI POND AND WATERFALL SHOULD BE DONE BY EARLY 2009. ABOUT 80% OF THE COURTYARD WILL BE DONE BY EARLY JANUARY 2009 WITH THE REMAINDER WHICH IS A STRIP CLOSEST TO TOWER II WHICH WILL BE DONE BY MAY 2009. 4)THE ELEVATORS WILL BE REMODELED WITH NEW AND QUIETER EQUIPMENT AND WILL BE DONE ONE AT A TIME WITH THE ESTIMATED COMPLETION IN APRIL OR MAY OF 2009. 5)THE CUURENT BUSINESS CENTER ACCROSS FROM THE FRONT DESK WILL BE REPLACED IN THE NEXT FEW MONTHS WITH A STORE SIMILAR TO THE WHALING SPREE THAT USED TO BE THERE.
